Together We Heel

September 30, 2023

Who Are We

7th Annual “Together We Heel” walk to
end domestic violence scheduled September 30

Helping bring awareness in Chickasha and the Grady County area about domestic violence while taking a ½ mile stroll in high heel shoes is just a part of the seventh Annual Together We Heel walk to end domestic violence September 30th in downtown Chickasha.

The walk, organized by the Grady County Coordinated Community Response (CCR) Team, raises awareness of domestic violence while supporting the county’s domestic violence crisis center – the Intervention & Crisis Advocacy Network (ICAN). In 2022, the walk raised more than $20,000.

Participants, both men and women, walk ½ mile in downtown Chickasha – many in high heels.

One important update this year, we will be checking in and beginning the walk at the Leg Lamp and head West on Chickasha Ave to 6th Street where the Chickasha Arts Council will have a stage and sound system setup for us to use.
