Together We Heel

September 30, 2023

Who Are We

7th Annual “Together We Heel” walk to
end domestic violence scheduled September 30

Together We Heel bags will be available for pickup, Friday, September 29, at the Grady County DA’s Office from 8am to 4:30pm.

If you are unable to stop by, you can pick them up Saturday morning at check in. New walkers can register Saturday at check in and we will have extra t-shirts to sell, as supplies last, for $15 per t-shirt.

There will be a shuttle bus from the Court House parking lot to the Leg Lamp from 8:45-9:45am. If you don’t plan to ride the shuttle, please park on Kansas Ave and walk over to the Leg Lamp.

Check in and onsite registration will be at the Leg Lamp starting at 8:45am. The walk will begin at 10am.

We will walk West on Chickasha Ave to 6th St where the Arts Festival will have a stage setup in the intersection of 6th and Chickasha.

Once everyone has finished the Walk, we will have our presentation. During the presentation, we will commemorate friends and loved ones whose life was taken because of domestic violence. Several will share memories of their friend or loved one. If you are walking in memory of a friend or loved one and have not shared their names yet, please let us know at check in. Also, we are honored to present our Law Enforcement Award this year in recognition of the life and service of Lewis Roller. All activities should be done by 11am.

Thank you so much for your support and participation.

We will see you Saturday morning! 😊
