Doing What's Needed

One step toward ending domestic violence is understanding what it is. At ICAN!, our board and staff are committed to increasing public knowledge of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking within the ICAN service areas. ICAN!'s 2024-2025 educational offerings and efforts include:

During Awareness Months, distributing educational and informational materials about domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and dating violence, as well as, details about how to access services.

Making educational and informational presentations about domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking to community groups at churches, civic clubs, and community events throughout the year.

ICAN staff are involved in victim service collaborations with other service providers in the communities where we offer services.

Each ICAN! staff member completes a minimum of 20 hours of continued education training each year.
